The inaugural event of the Festival will take place at Villa Panna in Scarperia, just outside Florence. The evening performance sees the famous pianist Nemtsov alongside the equally renowned violinist Blacher. The duo will be playing pieces by two admired composers, Beethoven and Prokofiev.
The work of Beethoven, German pianist and composer, dates back to the 18th and 19th centuries. The scores of Prokofiev, Russian composer and musician, arrive a century later between the end of the 19th century and beginning of the 20th century.
The performance promises a strong emotional experience, a worthy beginning to this second summer of shows, uniting art with taste.
